July's Theme: Aboriginal Cultures

In July, Canvass' theme of the month is about Aboriginal Cultures. Aboriginal Culture (or also known as Aboriginal Art) is originated from Indigenous Australians' traditional culture. Make your own aboriginal artwork by designing with dots and patterns in different mediums!

More Food Art - With Sushi

Here are some examples of Sushi Art. It's amazing how these sushi bentos look too cute to even be eaten in the first place! Would you bear to have them as a meal?

And here's Ken Kawasumi, creating Van Gogh's Sunflower out of only sushi. Have an amazing sushi-licious week ahead everyone!

Pancake Art

I was craving for some pancakes this morning (pancakes are actually one of my favourite food), and here are some references of pancake art you can try at home.

It's time to do some grocery shopping! Top it up with some fruits to stay healthy and don't forget your maple syrup!

Cook Out

Salt! Pepper! Chocolate! Icing! Creating their own recipes and dishes at CANVASS, the children had a great time presenting their very own dishes after making them. Finishing up the food was definitely more fulfilling than having store-bought food! ;)

Farmers Market in April

CANVASS has been regularly participating in the Farmers Market since it started early this year. The market has a delectable range of gourmet meats, wines, cheese and other home made goodies. This Easter, the children got the face painted and made bunny hats to strut around!

The Farmers Maket takes place every first saturday of each month. Keep an eye out for our craft stall in June, we will be there on alternate months!
